Chelsea (she/they) serves as one of Vot-ER’s Deputy Organizing Directors, overseeing our organizing work in North Carolina and Georgia in addition to our Social Work Strategy team. She received both her BSW & MSW from Western Carolina University and brings to Vot-ER a decade of experience dedicated to restructuring political systems using evidence-based healing practices. Based in the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina, Chelsea lives their passion as a social work leader with a specialized repertoire focused on community organizing, social policy, and leadership development specifically in rural populations.
