Bhaumi is a sophomore and an Eve Marie Carson scholar pursuing a BSPH in Health Policy and Management, a BA in Political Science, and a Public Policy minor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a pre-law and honors student from Atlanta who is passionate about the intersection of public health and policymaking and how the government plays a role in the health of the people they serve. Bhaumi is deeply involved in student government and serves as the Director of the Department of Student Wellness and Safety at her university. She hopes to eventually work in health law and work towards equitable and accessible health in the United States.
